Spoon Myself

For the first self portrait I wanted have something with multiple reflective surfaces. I experimented with all types of metallic objects through out my house. From pots and pans to, swords, Christmas decorations, saw blades, arrow heads, and eventually the multiple spoons. Along with the various items I attempted to take vary shots utilizing different lighting sources as well as directions. I also attempted different lens, all to no avail. I just couldn't get close enough to get the multiple faces as well as the texture of the medal. The final image is actually taken using my IPhone4. The slight depth of field was later added in a photo editing app also on the phone. I also adjusted the colors slightly using the same app called camera ++ . Hopefully throughout the semester i will have the opportunity to to learn how better to shoot close ups like this using my DSLR.
